Proposition to communities

1. Average Revenue Stream from 40 Acre Solar Farm projection is as follows*:

*These figures are for guidance only. Actual profit viability projections will be made in each case.

2. Investment of €6,000,000 arranged by Community Climate Change on

behalf of Renewable Energy Community (REC) i.e. Club, Credit Union,

Community Action Group to develop 40 Acre Solar Farm.

3. No investment or payment required from REC – The REC signs up to become a REC  as a CLG (Company Limited by Guarantee)

4. Solar Farm Generates 6MW Electricity valued at €2,000,000 per annum

​

5. Investment paid off after 15 years after which time the REC owns Solar Farm Outright and receives annual revenue of €1,600,000 every year going forward (after land rental, maintenance and grid connection fees).

6. In addition, from Year 1 REC receives 8% Dividend of €160,000 per

annum every year up to Year 15 when investment funding is paid off.

7. Note: If the REC does not have access to a suitable 40 Acre Site CCC have

suitable sites identified across the Country.
